Zaman had been away from international cricket ever since the 2024 T20 World Cup. He made a strong comeback in the ODI tri-series. The tournament featured New Zealand and South Africa. The 34-year-old played an electrifying knock, scoring 84 runs off 69 balls. Against New Zealand, he smashed seven boundaries and four sixes. Fakhar Zaman’s Power-Packed Return
Although he managed only 10 runs in the final against New Zealand, nevertheless, Zaman finished the tri-series with an impressive tally of 135 runs. Moreover, he averaged 45 while maintaining a striking rate of 120.53. With this performance in mind, Zaman and the Pakistan squad must now shift their focus to the 2025 Champions Trophy, which is set to take place from February 19 to March 9.
