Allen and Duffy dazzle as New Zealand triumphs over Pakistan

Duffy grabbed four wickets and Foulkes took three as Pakistan were bundled out for 105, chasing 221.

New Zealand 220 for 6 (Allen 50, Bracewell 46*, Seifert 44, Rauf 3-27) beat
Pakistan 105 all out (Samad 44, Duffy 4-20, Foulkes 3-25) by 115 runs

New Zealand’s pacers destroyed Pakistan in swing-friendly Mount Maunganui conditions. They sealed a huge 115-run win to clinch the T20 series 3-1. Pakistan had earlier chased 205 in Auckland to stay alive in the series. But they collapsed to 105 all out in just 16.2 overs on Sunday. New Zealand’s four-pronged pace attack took nine of ten wickets. Jacob Duffy struck early, grabbing three powerplay wickets to rattle the top order. Pakistan never recovered from the early collapse and struggled throughout the innings. The dominant bowling display sealed the T20I series win with one match left. T20 series highlights show New Zealand’s bowling brilliance and Pakistan’s batting failure.

Finn Allen smashed a fiery 20-ball half-century to lead New Zealand’s charge. Tim Seifert and Michael Bracewell added vital cameos in the middle overs. New Zealand reached 220 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. They scored 79 for 1 in a powerful powerplay start. Though there was a slowdown later, they crossed 200 once again. This was New Zealand’s second consecutive 200-plus total in the T20 series. Pakistan bowlers struggled to contain the aggressive Kiwi batting lineup. The hosts’ intent was clear from ball one, pushing the scoring rate. Allen’s explosive fifty set the tone for a match-winning total.

Duffy, Foulkes Rout Pakistan

Pakistan’s chase faltered early under swing and seam at Mount Maunganui. Unlike Auckland, DEW offered no help for Pakistan’s batters. Will O’Rourke, playing his first game, bowled Haris with a sharp delivery. Duffy struck in the second over, removing Hasan Nawaz and skipper Salman Agha. Zakary Foulkes, one of two changes, made an immediate impact. He bowled Shadab Khan’s first ball with a brilliant winger. New Zealand’s pace attack kept constant pressure from both ends. Pakistan never gained momentum during the steep 221-run chase. They lost eight wickets for just 56 runs in a collapse. The chase was virtually over halfway through their innings. Abdul Samad’s 44 off 30 was the only resistance offered.

Duffy returned to finish with 4 for 20 in his four overs. Foulkes picked up three wickets in his T20 debut performance. Duffy is now the leading wicket-taker in the series. He has claimed 11 wickets in just four matches. New Zealand’s pace bowlers outclassed Pakistan’s batting unit completely.

The hosts clinched the T20I series 3-1 with one match left. Bowling highlights showcased top-class seam and swing skills under lights. Duffy and Foulkes dominated headlines with career-best T20I figures. Their performances set up a crushing win for New Zealand. Pakistan were unable to handle the relentless Kiwi pace attack.

Finn Allen smashed a 19-ball fifty

Seifert Ignites Powerplay With Explosive Start

Tim Seifert gave New Zealand a flying start in the fourth T20I against Pakistan. He drove Shaheen Afridi for four off the second ball of the inning. Next over, he launched Khushdil Shah over long-on for six. Seifert targeted Abrar Ahmed with 6, 4, 6 in a 19-run over. New Zealand reached fifty in just 3.5 overs—an electric start. Haris Rauf broke the momentum in the fifth over.

Seifert pulled a short ball to deep midwicket, caught brilliantly by Khushdil. New Zealand ended powerplay at 79/1, second-highest against Pakistan in T20Is. Seifert smashed 44 off 22 balls with aggressive intent.

Allen’s Blazing Fifty Followed by Pakistan Fightback

Finn Allen started slow with 8 from 6 but exploded after powerplay. He smashed Abrar Ahmed for two boundaries and a six-in-one over. Allen punished Shadab Khan for 23 runs in the 10th over. He brought up his fifty in just 19 balls with clean hitting. Next ball, he miscued Abbas Afridi to mid-off and departed. New Zealand collapsed from 134/2 to 149/5, losing momentum quickly. Pakistan bowlers bowled five overs without conceding a boundary. Allen’s 19-ball fifty set the tone, but mid-inning stutters slowed New Zealand down.

Bracewell’s Late Blitz Powers New Zealand Past 200

New Zealand smashed 63 runs in the final five overs. Daryl Mitchell recovered from a slow start to hit 29 off 23. Michael Bracewell starred with an unbeaten 46 at No. 7. Bracewell struck five boundaries and two sixes in his 26-ball innings. He launched a 97-meter six off Shaheen Afridi to fine leg. Bracewell’s late hitting helped New Zealand finish strong at 220/6. Haris Rauf was Pakistan’s most economical bowler, taking 3/27 in four overs. He was the only one to go under 10 per over. Pakistan’s bowlers struggled at the death against New Zealand’s aggressive finish.
